Cris Kelly, Photographer   Cris Kelly is a professional freelance photographer, living in the North Bay. Her enthusiasm for photography began at a young age, her first subject interests being animals, of all types and sizes. Through the years, Cris has broadened and refined her portfolio to include portraits, editorial, stock, and commercial photography. Cris’ work has won numerous awards, has been seen on Animal Planet national television show, and is regularly published in several major magazines, textbooks and newspapers. Her portrait work includes both animals and humans. Her approach is always a personal one, communicating with her subjects in order to capture creative, realistic images. Feeling grateful for the opportunities she has had, Cris believes in giving back to the community. Combining her love of animals and photography, Cris donates her photographic talents to help animals in need. She also volunteers her time to a variety of non-profit agencies and community centers. A percentage of the sitting fee for an animal portrait is donated to animal welfare organizations. Cris Kelly shoots in her studio and on location. She works with black and white or color.
