Tech Notes
So how do I choose the best AntiVirus?
There is no such thing
as the best when it comes to Anti-Virus software or any security program.
They all have different strengths and weaknesses. One may detect what
another leaves behind.
Since you have no idea ahead of time which virus is going to be attacking
your system it's anybody's guess which program, paid for or free is the
right one.
Also remember that the
criminals will always have access to the same security programs the public
is using, and it's never very long before they discover a way to defeat
their protection for a short while. Think cat and mouse.
The most important thing
is to at least have something installed and up to date. Even if it can't
prevent or remove an infection you will most likely have some kind of
warning.
Whatever you choose
please use/install only one. You won't be happy with your computer if you
try to run two at the same time.
